"I greatly value my relationship with Macmillan as a key supplier of design, keyboarding, composition, and data conversion services for Oxford's reference books division. Macmillan's proactive thinking and expert customer service typify the best kind of client-vendor relationship. They have routinely met even the most demanding schedule requirements." Director, Editorial Developement and Production Reference Division, Oxford University Press

"I just wanted to acknowledge your customer services representatives in India for their excellent service, communication, and all around good cheer on a couple of recent projects. The Ferrini book-it's required a great deal of extremely late author corrections and the index and front matter were a mess." Managing Editor, McGraw-Hill Higher Education

"I have really enjoyed working with you on my production. You do a super job and I want you to know I really appreciate the 'extras' you put into the process. You have saved me many hours and, as a result, we have been able to meet schedules." Managing Editor, Prentice Hall

"Having just finished 2 projects with you, I wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed working with you. My editorial service manager did a phenomenal job of keeping both projects on schedule. The Burrow Student Activities Guide was completed on time, on a very tight schedule (just 8 weeks from receipt of copyedited manuscript until file release!). Digital Desktop Publishing was finished on time and only 16 pages over the target page count. This was an art-heavy 4/c book. I look forward to working with you again." Content Project Manager,Content and Media Production, Thomson Learning

"I've been using your services for seven years, one year was for college-level economics textbooks and six years have been with high school and college mathematics textbooks. I have yet to find a better compositor when it comes to the knowledge and skills surrounding the details of mathematical typesetting in a variety of formats.
In addition to the quality of the composition services, your customer service is outstanding. Because my company strives to publish the highest quality books possible, we place considerable demands on our vendors. Your project managers have always kept up with our requests and the thousands of pages going through their system. It has been a pleasure working with all the project managers assigned to my projects."

MPS Books offers both onshore and offshore project management services. Our project managers act as the primary contact point for project organization and communication. The project manager’s top priorities are ensuring a quality product, on-time delivery, and budgetary control. We juggle schedules, act as liaisons with the authors, and keep the workflow focused. We provide written weekly status reports and give you the opportunity to review and approve all key deliverables. Our project managers are proactive and e-mail or call the client whenever questions arise. Most importantly, our project managers are problem solvers, trained to make your life easier and see that your standards are upheld.

| MPS Books maintains project management teams in the United States and in India. We focus on recruiting staff with superior communication and organization skills and then train them in processes that have been developed for well over 30 years of our company’s book production history. Our project managers are empowered to make creative decisions and act as advocates for their customers. |
 |
| Each project begins with a job evaluation and estimation of costs. This evaluation process is coordinated by the project manager, who will proceed to develop a job plan and schedule reflecting the customer's requirements. MPS Books’ project managers take responsibility for a range of project functions, depending on the customer's preference, including liaison with authors, liaison with third-party vendors, management of editorial processes, photo research, bibliography development, and coordination of specialized workflows. |
